Transport Terrestrial General Secretary Rocío Báguena presented the new infostudy in Tudela, advocating for the high-speed passenger halt on the existing footprint and binning the 2023 off-centre proposal.

This setup aims to boost accessibility and rail links from the town to the national network.
High-speed services alongside regional workings will call at the central stop, enhancing connectivity across Zaragoza, Navarre, and La Rioja, with seamless interchange to road transport via the nearby bus station.

Plans include an underground car park linked straight to the concourse and a fresh urban plaza.
The scheme retains an outer bypass for non-stoppers to streamline pathing and cut urban rail traffic.

The study projects a 38% daily demand uplift from keeping the station central, pairing an upgraded bypass alignment with platform extensions on the current throat.
