The Spanish rail operator Renfe has announced its 2026 Public Employment Offer (OPE), opening 360 new positions in its maintenance workshops. Applications are open until 2 April.
Renfe is seeking to hire 360 new employees within its Engineering and Maintenance division. The vacancies are divided into six categories: 173 fitter-assembler positions, 142 in electrical work, 6 in bodywork/welding, 8 in machinery and tools, and 31 in supplies.

his call forms part of Renfe’s 2026 employment plan, which will bring more than 2,000 new professionals into the company. The programme is part of a recent agreement reached with trade unions to ensure generational renewal and consolidate stable employment, following the cancellation of the February strike.
With this recruitment drive, Renfe reinforces its commitment to creating quality jobs in the rail sector and promoting sustainable mobility. The operator also currently has another open call for 550 train drivers, with applications closing on 24 March.
