Czech operator Leo Express, controlled by the Spanish Renfe, has started selling tickets for its new Warsaw-Cracow-Prague route. Tickets are on sale from just €2 each way, and the new service will start on 1 March 2026.

This direct route, which will be operated twice a day with a daytime and night-time service, will create a new connection between Warsaw and Prague and increase the frequency between Kraków and the Czech capital to four trains a day.

For this new route, Leo Express will use the Stadler FLIRT trains that are part of its fleet. They are equipped with air conditioning, 5G Wi-Fi and three types of seats, which the operator sells in four classes.

With this launch, the company expands its presence in Poland, where it has been serving the route between Kraków and Prague for almost a decade. In addition, it will now offer an alternative on the Polish domestic market. Until now, the two cities have been linked only by TLK, Intercity and Intercity Premium trains of the public operator PKP Intercity.

In addition, from 14 December 2025, a new daily frequency will be added between Kraków and Prague. Leo Express CEO Peter Köhler says the connections are planned to facilitate same-day return journeys and strengthen international cooperation.
