FGV opens new recruitment call for 68 positions

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) has announced a public competition-based selection process to fill 68 positions in the driving and traffic departments of Metrovalencia and TRAM d’Alacant.

The offer includes vacancies for train drivers, traffic controllers, and Control Centre regulators, as well as the creation of temporary employment pools to meet future staffing needs. The allocation of positions is as follows:

  • 32 train driver positions in Valencia.
  • 17 train driver positions in Alicante.
  • 6 traffic controller positions in Valencia.
  • 7 traffic controller positions in Alicante.
  • 6 Control Centre regulator positions in Valencia.

Applications and requirements

Interested candidates can apply online via the official FGV website (www.fgv.es), under the “Work at FGV” section, within the call titled “to fill driving and traffic positions corresponding to the 2023 and 2024 public employment offers.”

The application period closes on 22 December at 11:59 a.m. Candidates who successfully complete the selection process but do not secure a permanent position will be added to the temporary employment lists.

The job descriptions outline the key functions and required knowledge for each role, though they do not exhaustively list all possible duties.
