InnoTrans 2026, scheduled for 22–25 September in Berlin, will celebrate its 30th anniversary edition with a high-profile institutional and corporate presence. Messe Berlin has confirmed that the opening ceremony will feature European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport Apostolos Tzitzikostas alongside Germany’s Federal Minister for Transport, Patrick Schnieder.
The event will bring together senior rail industry executives, including Evelyn Palla (DB), Martin Sion (Alstom), Michael Peter (Siemens Mobility) and Petr Novotny (Škoda), who are set to discuss market growth and global mobility projects.
The InnoTrans Convention will form a central pillar of the programme, with dialogue forums focused on digitalisation, sustainability, cybersecurity, and infrastructure. Key sessions will address ERTMS deployment, operational efficiency and subscription-based technology models.
The invitation-only Rail Leaders’ Summit will examine railway resilience and the role of infrastructure in a challenging operating environment. Additional specialist forums will cover interior design, tunnelling, public transport and bus systems, with a focus on artificial intelligence, electrification, and automation.
Media accreditation is now open and includes access to the International Press Circle ahead of the exhibition.
