The Indian Ministry of Railways has unveiled “SwaRail”, a new SuperApp designed to offer all rail services on a single platform.
Developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), this application integrates previously scattered functions in different apps.

- Purchase of platform tickets.
- Management of parcels and freight services.
- Train and PNR (Passenger Name Record) queries.
- Assistance to users through Rail Madad in lodging complaints or making suggestions.

The app also introduces innovative features such as single sign-on and a simplified registration process.
Currently in beta testing, SwaRail will soon be available to all users on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
