As of this Monday, Renfe is extending the C-5 Cercanías line from Jardines de Hércules to Dos Hermanas, significantly improving connectivity between this municipality and the rest of the network.
The extension will include 12 trains daily, six in each direction, operating from Monday to Friday. According to the latest municipal census, this extension will benefit Dos Hermanas’s 140,430 inhabitants and reinforce its strategic position in the region’s communications network.

The mayor, Francisco Rodríguez, has expressed his satisfaction with this improvement, highlighting Dos Hermanas’ key role in developing sustainable mobility in the metropolitan area.

In addition, the mayor mentioned the project for a new Cercanías station in Casilla de los Pinos. This station could initially serve 1,500 passengers per day and grow to 2,500 in the future. This project promises to reduce pollution, shorten journey times, and improve mobility in the area.
