Ouigo has announced a reinforcement of its high-speed offer with four new daily frequencies as of 14 December, increasing by 14% the capacity on all its routes.

The reinforcement of the offer coincides with the entry into force of the 2025-2026 service timetable. Tickets for travel until 2 August 2026 will go on sale on Thursday, 9 October.

Increased services in the main corridors

The operator will introduce an additional daily return train on the Madrid-Barcelona, Madrid-Seville, Madrid-Malaga and Madrid-Murcia connections. In addition, it will maintain the five return trains between Madrid and Valencia.

Madrid-Zaragoza-Barcelona

In the corridor with the highest demand, Ouigo is going to reinforce its offer with a sixth train per day in each direction, both stopping in Zaragoza. This extension will allow it to reach 12 daily services (6 in each direction), four of which will stop in Zaragoza. This means a 20% increase in the number of trains and 370,000 more seats per year on this corridor.

In this way, the operator is boosting the low-cost offer on this route, which recently lost the Avlo service. This absence has increased prices between the two major Spanish cities by 40%. Ouigo defends that it is still the cheapest operator on this route.

It will be an extension of the Alicante-Madrid-Valladolid, departing at 7:53 from Alicante, which will leave at 6:35 from Murcia. The arrival time at Valladolid Campo Grande remains at 11:40.

The company will maintain its five round-trip trains between Madrid and Valencia -one extended to Segovia and Valladolid- and the three round-trips to Alicante. On these routes, stops in cities such as Cuenca, Albacete and Elche will be maintained.
