Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) has established new rules for the transport of bicycles on the Metrovalencia network as of 1 October, following the full restoration of the service affected by the floods of 29 October.

Non-electric and non-folding bicycles can now access all surface sections of metro lines, with a maximum of four per unit. They must always be placed in the last carriage, standing next to their owner and without obstructing the passage of passengers or access to cabins.

Folding bicycles remain authorised for use on the metro and trams, with no limit on the number of bicycles, but they must always be folded, even at entrances and exits. Personal electric vehicles are still prohibited, except for those for persons with reduced mobility (PRM).

To promote intermodality, FGV has cycle parks in Torrent Avinguda, Empalme, Alboraya-Peris Aragó and Quart de Poblet, with covered parking spaces and access by transport card. The maximum parking time is 24 hours. In addition, the network of bike parks has been extended to more than twenty stations in different parts of the metropolitan area.
